Benjamine Toussaint

Benjamine Toussaint is a Senior Lecturer in British literature at Sorbonne University. She teaches translation, Victorian literature and Scottish history and literature. Her research focuses on 19th and 20th century Scottish authors, especially on the links between national identity and gender (Susan Ferrier, Walter Scott, George MacDonald, Liz Lochhead, Ronald Frame and Kate Clanchy). She is currently editing the conference proceedings of the Eleventh international Scott conference which she organized at Sorbonne University in 2018.
